Help Us Fight The War On Veterans Suicide

We want to make sure both families of fallen heroes as well as active service people and veterans have access to resources that help.  If you are facing an emergency, please seek immediate help from the proper authorities.  Otherwise, take a look at our Facebook page for information concerning veteran suicide, PTS, mental health, and our plight.

Veterans and Loved Ones Resources

Courageous Survival established to connect Idaho’s Everyday Heroes with mental health resources and tangible tools for building resilience. Our hope is that ALL First Responders, Military Service Members, Veterans and their families can learn to recognize the signs of trauma exposure and Post-Traumatic Stress Injuries in themselves and others; and then have the courage to reach out for help. Our goal is to always offer Enhanced Peer Support, Consultations and
Resource Guides all at NO COST for our Everyday Heroes and their families. In addition, we offer presentations, Peer Support Outreach, and training classes. Resource Guide (courageoussurvival.org)

Our organization is primarily committed to the families of veterans who have taken their own lives or died due to PTSD related causes.  An integral part of that commitment is remaining sensitive to the families who have suffered such a loss.  A resource that we have found to be helpful to the families of the fallen military is Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS). They can be reached 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year at 800-959-TAPS (8277).

See our Ride For 22® Facebook page for a variety of helpful resources for veterans and support to families.
